Robert Mercer, a man nigh infinitely more wealthy than Donald Trump, spent millions on Breitbart in order to spread Alt-Right anti-immigration propaganda. He also spent millions helping get Donald Trump elected. When Trump was elected, he appointed Robert Mercer's daughter (Rebekah Mercer) and Mercer's people (like Steve Bannon and Kellyanne Conway) to top positions within his Administration. Trump, propelled by the Alt-Right anti-immigrant agenda of Bannon, cracked down on illegal immigration and has been spreading anti-immigrant propaganda and lies. Well, Mercer, who wholly owns Donald Trump and this Administration, also happens to be making a shit ton of money off of for-profit prison companies that are running immigrant detention centers. Trump's hard fascist rhetoric has also boosted stock prices of for-profit prison companies and undone the Obama era federal policy of phasing out for-profit private prisons. The Republican Party, Donald Trump, and the Alt-Right (which are really just different limbs of the same beast at this point) are creating a fascist State, overriding the Constitution, and seeking to cause economic insecurity, widespread panick, and instability so that the puppet-master (Mercer & co.) can make billions off of private prisons, private police, and an American fascist gulag system.
